Southern Resort Homes are a boutique builder designing for Eastern Metropolitan Melbourne, who have developed a proven method with clients allowing flexibility for personal design creativity with each project.   The homes reflect each client’s individuality and are tailored to compliment their particular geographical settings.

Open plan living that embraces and incorporates the outdoors is an important feature of these homes, enabling home-owners to live the outdoors lifestyle in their own resort-styled home.   Southern Resort Homes provides the complete service for home-owners, from initial consultation and design work, through the permit process to construction and completion.

Southern Resort Homes was founded in 1998 by present owner Ken Smithson, whose design received a Runner-Up Award for Custom Built Home $200,000 to $350,000 in the 2007 HIA Home of the Year Awards.   Along side the company’s resort-style designs, Ken owns and manages another division specialising in renovations and extensions under the company name KS Build.
